“Your task is not to foresee the future, but to enable it.” The Wisdom of the Sands, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

The current COVID-19 pandemic shook us to the core. Our life is changing by the hour and uncertainty, the closures based on the latest health directives, and the fear for our loved ones and the greater community are quickly decimating Sunshine Coast businesses.

Here, at H2H Studios, we’re also feeling the storm. Our job is to keep our clients safe, reassured and to move their business forward, so they can survive and provide. Whilst our government is working hard to support small businesses with stimulus packages, we also made a commitment to work above and beyond and support our much-loved community.

Staying positive and inspiring others to do and feel the same is not an easy task but we must focus, adapt and innovate together. There’s never been a better time to convert to the online environment. When social distancing is the new norm we need to stay connected more than ever.

Businesses that remain open face the struggles of changing directions, maintaining staff and serving all of us the best they can. What we as a community can do together is to support them by buying online, ordering takeaways, buying gift cards and sharing their social content to keep them in the frontline.

If you’re one of those businesses who is trying their best to stay afloat and move forward in this new business environment, you’re not alone. Many are looking at opportunities to transform into a successful online trailblazer. There are some things you can do now:

  1. Convert your brick and mortar store online

Whilst it’s not a one-day project, it’s definitely worth investing in it right now. The key elements are planning, finding the right platform, determining your budget and the products/services you’d like to sell, and finally, working out your supplier/delivery methods. If you need a hand, we’re only a click away. LINK IS TO OUR CONTACT PAGE

2. Move your events online

As brands scramble to reimagine their events in the wake of cancellations resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak, there is a resurgence of interest surrounding the virtual event space. There are many programs to help you along in a quick DIY fashion but you also should spare a thought for on demand content. Live streaming provides you with exceptional quality, advertising revenue and 100% control. Adopting this strategy is certainly the way to put you ahead of the pack right now.

3. Invest in a social media strategy

Staying connected is the key. Even if you might need to stop your business for a while, you need to make sure that your audience is not forgetting about you. Keep them engaged, and entertained. Social distancing means that people spend more time on their social. They should spend some of that time with you.

At H2H, we’re working hard to provide you and your business with valuable content and support. Feel free to check out our expanding online content for handy tips and tools. If you have any questions and suggestions please comment below, we’d love to have a conversation.
